The stand-alone XR2000 base unit may be equipped with up to 32 analog FXS/FXO ports, up to 8 BRI ports, and 1 E1/T1 PRI, 1 T1 CAS, or 1 E1 R2 port in a single, 19" 2U chassis. Additional PSTN / Analog phone ports can be provided by connecting external Astribank units via the USB2 ports, for a total of up to 160 PSTN / Analog phones ports, up to 300 users and up to 60 concurrent calls. Xorcom Rapid PA is an add-on for Astribank that interfaces with any Astribank FXS port to provide public address functionality via Astribank. The small stand-alone unit is activated by simply dialing the port’s extension number.

Each Rapid PA unit is equipped with 2 RJ11 ports. The ‘PBX’ port connects directly to an Astribank FXS port and the ‘PA’ connection connects to the PA ‘line in’ (‘audio in’) port. The PA device itself can be anything from a standard personal computer speaker with an internal amplifier to an industrial-strength amplifying system.

Xorcom Rapid Recovery (XRR) is a 'thumb-drive' form factor Disk-on-Key device for recovering your Xorcom IP-PBX. It is a unique software package installed on a 'thumb-drive' form factor Disk-on-Key (DOK) that enables simple, safe and speedy recovery of Xorcom's XR1000, XR2000 and XR3000 IP-PBX solutions. In just a few minutes, the XRR can restore and recover the Xorcom IP-PBX, including its configuration files, voice prompts and even voice mail, if desired.

Configurations involving multiple Astribanks often require use of a USB hub to connect them to the Asterisk® server. In order to ensure a positive user experience, Xorcom branded a 4-port model that has proven itself in Xorcom's lab tests. Its dimensions allow it to be affixed easily and aesthetically to the rear panel of Xorcom's XR2000 and XR3000 IP PBX models.
